If a friend does something wrong or if someone hurts you, write it in the sand that the waves or the wind will erase it. if a friend saves you or does something kind to you, carve this in a rock that it will be there forever. Two wrongs do not make a right.
snippet from today's sermon that has stuck in my head.
about Cairn and Abel.
when Cairn killed his brother Abel,
the Lord spoke to Cairn and asked,"Where is your brother Abel?".
"I don't know,"he replied," Am I my brother's keeper?"
The Lord said," What have you done? Listen! Your brother's blood cries out to me from the ground. Now you are under curse and driven from the ground, which opened its mouth to recieve your brother's blood from you hand. When you work the ground, it will no longer yield its crops for you. You will be a restless wanderer on the earth."
Short update
sailing today was fuN!! wind was super strong and i had a great time surfing waves going downwind. it was really fast and scary but exciting. in short, i didnt capsize going downwind and managed to link 7 waves together. whoohoo! this week i've got a math test so don't expect many updates.
